I believe you can get the helmet through console commands only. If you're on Xbox, then you're out of luck.

Don't know why they didn't make it an actual item to have in the game.

Yes I use ENB for all my shots. Once you go ENB, you never go back. This particular one is from Winterheart ENB.

I checked my quest log, there was nothing indicating I still needed a gem. I must gave grabbed it while exploring. Also Serana glitched a bit during that quest. She kept switching from what I placed on her, to her default. Or sometimes wore what I gave her PLUS her default hood. When I left the castle she seemed to return to normal. Not sure if it was the game or my mods...

not to spoil it for you but the new Falmor (pics coming later today from me) are awesome to fight. and (pics coming later) I found my new favorite area.

Oddly enough, most of the Falmer I've met today were female. They're cute, in their own, Falmer way. Bad thing is that they were mages. Falmer mages are tricky, and by that, the worst to fight.
And the Keeper was actually killed by Eilonwy. I probably phrased it the wrong way. I was venturing around, looking for Jiub's pages (before I got to Valerica), when a giant undead man jumped out.

Yeah I noticed a lot are female. I took their armor.. but have yet to try it on haha. How many Jiub's pages did you find? I went through without a guide and only found 1,2,5 and 8 I think. After a while I lost track of where I had and had not been in the Soul Cairn and just went back to the quest.

I went by a guide, just because it's Jiub.
Without the guide I found some of them. One near Morven Stroud, one south of where Jiub is, one in the small building near the portal...
I didn't find any armor in Alftand(sp?), just two shields on two male Falmer.
