Some outside shots this time around (ranging from Sovengarde, Markarth, Whiterun and the tundra west of it).

And pretty happy starting to play with dof (plus it made my frame rate go up... all for the better but no clue why):

Nice shots. Sadly my pc isn't powerful enough. And the only enb I can run with playable frame rates is ENB 1.08. Without any DOF. Oh well I have almost gotten used to having no DOF anyway.

You can disable dof very easily on any enb--just open the enbseries.ini file (just right click and open with notepad) and change "EnableDepthOfField=true" to "EnableDepthOfField=false" (its under Effect and pretty close to top, save/close it and your done. Everything else will stay the same just no more dof (same is true for other settings under Effect as long as they're enabled/working anyways). Might be able to use some other enbs if you do that as all you really do is highlight and type five letters  Granted won't make some playable due to other stuff it does but nearly all of the power hungry options are enabled/disabled the same way.

Rather than snip all of the wonderful pics in here (because getting snipped seems unpleasant), I'll just continue to compliment everyone on some truly amazing pics. Please keep them coming. My pics pale in comparison to the beautiful PC users' shots, but they serve as excellent inspiration!

*And someone suggested using flickr for better photo quality. I'm definitely going to check it out. Thanks!

Here are a few from Maylissa the Imperial Cleric's latest adventures. Slim Xbox 360 with a capture device.

Yup. Not only do the linked photos look better, I can also now use them as desktop backgrounds without them being condensed and squished! I tried to find the poster that suggested flickr, but I can't seem to find them. But you know who you are, and I thank you! Blessing of the Divines upon you in all of your adventures! Assuming you subscribe to that lot, of course...

I tried 100stenar's build of ENB, and it has DOF, and if I can be contended with losing a couple of fps, I actually can get a pretty good DOF that I have been missing for a long time. Pic below.

Hi mag. I lol'd at the way you called me scum. I was like, "Hey! Oh, wait...that's my name..." Lol!

That's the thing. There IS no capture software. The device I use doesn't have software requirements. The device saves the image to either a flash drive, which is what I'm using, or a 2.55 (or 2.25?) hard drive. The device doesn't come with either one though, so I just bought a 32gb flash drive and plugged it into the device.

I then upload the pics from the flash drive to my PC, and then to the photo hosting site. I WAS using photobucket but now I'm going to start posting pics using Flickr, because the quality is way better.

The device that I'm using is called the AVerMedia Game Capture HD, and the specific model is the C281. It boasts 1080i resolution capture capability, but be warned: it does NOT allow the HDMI cable for the 360 (I have the Slim model) to be used. The device has a Component cable hookup that connects to a AV input for the 360. This creates a drop in picture quality. So basically my game and pics do not look as clear as my game does when I'm just playing normally with the HDMI connection. And daytime shots or shots with a lot of lighting look better than night shots.

If you want to know more, feel free to message me. Also you can google the device by name and it comes up.

I hear ya. Obviously we have limited (and costly) options on consoles for this sort of thing. But it's worth the coin if you're really into taking snapshots and intend to do so frequently. At least it is to me, because I plan on taking A LOT of snapshots, and eventually I want to turn them into a montage and post it on YouTube. Considering that the other higher end devices use software AND cost $100 more (minimum) than the one I have, this device is worth it.
