Shrine of Azura

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 3:42 pm

Ive just been there for the first time and WOW!
Amazing graphics, amazing atmosphere. How she appears majestically from the path. Easily my best moment in Skyrim so far. Well done Bethesda for this one.

Checked your blog, looks like you got some pretty cool mods installed.

Yeah Azura looks nice and thats a pretty good quest to take up.

I'll have to go out this summer and buy it on PC just so I can screw around with mods (360 user)

I checked out your blog to but couldn’t find the start of your journey... wordpress allows some formatting to make sifting through older posts easier, and I couldn’t find it on the right. Can you send a link to the beginning of her journey?

If I wasn't a speed-reader I wouldn't have the time to read it lol.

With that outfit though, she'd probably look better minus the hood.

Click A New Life on the righthand side, then scroll all the way down the page, click older posts, and work back.

Might want to link each post on the right and have chapters for each, just a suggestion.

Yeah it's quite a sight. I had a look at your blog too and do you use a realistic weather mod? Every time I've been there it's always been in a snow storm so is it always like or can it also have clear days?

Nope, no weather mods. I am role playing a member of the College so I am based at Winterhold at the moment and the weather there tends to be the worst.

I didnt know she appeared because i always chose the black star....its better

I'm tempted to go back to her shrine and kill her worshipper and absorb their soul in the black star, just because :P

The Shrine's my favorite place in Skyrim, probably. There's nothing prettier than going up their at night and using "Clear Skies".

And Aranea Ienith's my favorite follower. I added the Black Star via console commands later; she was totally worth cheating for. Aranea + her flame atronach + Shadowmere can take a dragon down in about ten seconds without any help from me. Not to mention I have a soft spot for Dunmer girls, and I really needed someone to replace Karliah.

Yeah I agree having Aranea as a follow is a big help sometimes (especially at low levels). She'd kill everything before I'd even got my sword out, had to dismiss her after awhile as I wasn't leveling (or it was taking ages, because of said reason).

The shrine is lush and very nicely done to IMHO.
Azura's shrines - (in all the games) - always seem to be the most grand and atmospheric of all of them, to me.
