I realize there are side quests in RAGE and I have also heard - from another poster out here - that you can have a few missions active at the same time. I know the world is a bit open, but I was more curious as to what types of side quests you can undertake? (NOTE: Please do not go into story spoilers of any type - even for side quests. Thanks!)

I realize there are going to be your usual "Take item to point A to B" or "Rescue this person or item" but my concern is how this is done. It would be nice to have all the wonderful action-oriented moments during the side quest, like car combat and the critically-acclaimed FPS combat. I also realize there are races in the game. Can you go into these races at any type and are there multiple courses?

For those that might be have played the game a few hours already, or perhaps know more than me, I'd really appreciate some details.

From what I've personally seen (I've followed the game for a long time like most) the game looks absolutely incredible.
