*sigh*.. Any words on DLC or something?

Post » Tue Jun 05, 2012 7:32 pm

So.. I haven't been playing this game since new years eve(showed it to a friend) because it is basically dead to me.. I reached my 100 in pickpocket goal and i am rich.. That's when everything got so boring, i just walked around killing random animals and bandits. I thought about starting a new character but i never did it. Mages svcks and i have already played a sneaky character twice. I just don't see no point in playing anymore unless there is a dlc coming soon, that's why i'm asking you guys! I want everything! Rumours or facts, it doesn't matter, i just want to be excited to play again.

(btw i play on PS3 so no mods for me...)

I haven't heard anything regarding specifics about future DLC (like release dates or even just an announcement of what they'll be). However, even when it's released it'll be for the X360 first and then the other systems will get it 30 days later.

Yeah, that's one thing i know :P
However, that's what the 360 owners are paying for so it's not more than right that they get it.

http://kotaku.com/5885983/bethesda-skyrim-dlc-will-feel-more-like-expansion-packs

Basically what the Bethesda guy here is saying is that, rather than release a lot of rapid fire DLC for the hell of it, they're working on bundling up more features in one go. Also they're aiming to make it REALLY expansive, as compared to say Oblivion DLC which gave you a little base and maybe a quest or two to do and some gold to pour into your hideout.

Yeah really need some DLC going. I've maxed out 2 characters and have no motivation for a 3rd, meanwhile, BF3 already has brand new content planned in June and other games are rolling out various DLC even as soon as April. Hopefully that stuff shown in the 1 week development makes it into the final DLC, especially the home building and dragon riding.

I hope they add some sort of spell creation. Man, was i mad when they said it wasn't in the game. Magic is NOTHING without spell creation in TES..

good things come to those who wait. i can only imagine the longer the wait, the more immersive(expensive :ermm: ) the content!

having played on PC for over 200 hours im a little burned out as well as for the most part, i have literally done everything skyrim has to offer.

Zenimax just recently copyrighted the name "Dawnguard", which might be a DLC/Expansion for Skyrim. If so, i suspect it'll have something to do with the Vampires of Skyrim, especially considering we've seen concept art of Lamae Beolfag, but she's not in game yet.

No, it's complete bull; it's not my fault Microsoft charges for Live, and I sure as hell shouldn't be punished for purchasing my system of choice. It's one thing when consoles have exclusive games and I can respect that; it's another when multiplatform games favor one over another.

They should really put some effort into fixing all these issues that have been discussed for a very long time now.

And DLC, yeah, great idea.

Mass Effect 3 had some available on release day.
And I haven't found any bugs in that yet.
