Doing the civil war quest line, haven't visited the greybeards, but Ive been summoned, level 40ish, and Ive faced about 4-5 dragons. Randomly as I arrive at my Imperial encampment west of dawnstar an elder dragon appears, slaughters the whole camp lol only the main person for the questline survives. Gods favoring the storm cloaks or what lol

Skyrim belongs to the Nords!...and dragons...and essential charcters.

Probably just a coincidence. Though I have had Dragon attacks just outside Solitude, but the guards don't seem to notice it.

I was attacked by a vampire who, seconds later, was incinerated by a dragon. Was kinda helpful.

REally, I once saw an encampment of stormcloaks take down a dragon before I had a chance to use dragon rend against it. It was just a regular dragon though
