Silenced magic

i play as dark brotherhood and mage and have a problem, there is no silenced magic that can be used for killing. sure you can use a frency spell but then ALOT of people dies.

oh and if im wrong and there is such a spell... then please tell me

There's an Illusion perk that quiets your spells to enemies. They'll see the light off of them, but won't hear you charging or casting them.

Have you tried getting the perk in Illusion to let you cast magic without being detected then doing a Destruction spell?

Silent Casting is boss.

And if you get the Augmented Flames/Frost/Electricity Perks also, you can make Destruction somewhat useful again (the damage scaling for Destruction svcks so badly...).

One of my favorite tactics is to Sneak around until my enemies are between myself, and a wall or corner of a wall, etc. Then from the shadows, I use the benefit of Silent Casting to drop two Dremora Lords right in between me and the enemies (or with them sandwiched between a wall and Daedra. :wink:).

One minute, their day is boring. Then they die.

It's effective, and they never had the time to react really. lol

Invisibility can be silenced magic. It is the most useful for killing.

Once you get the Silent Casting Perk, every spell you cast is silent to other people. You will still hear the sound of casting from your T.V., but the NPC's won't have a clue.
