Well, yesterday I get the silent roll perk from the sneak tree.

"Sprinting while sneaking executes a silent forward roll"

But I try to run and nothing happens. This is some known bug or Im just doing wrong?

Im playing on PC.

Hmm....I hope that's not the case. Was kind of looking forward to taking that perk soon.

Go to sneak mode, move forward and press the sprint button. If your character doesn't do da roll...something is wrong.

Are you playing in first-person? This fooled me at first. It doesn't actually feel like you're rolling at all in first-person... but instead just running a little while crouch. I had to actually go into third-person to check that it was a roll.

I thought this was about the bug where you can actually execute the roll without the perk, by holding sprint and pulling out/putting away your weapon while in first person

try "sprint", default key is "alt". i kinda have a feeling you dont know what sprint is ;p

Actually, most of the time I double click W to sprint.

i see, i dont know then. i bind my sprint to shift key and just spam it when im crouching.
could be bug though

Go into sneak mode, move forward and sprint -> Done, you are rolling forward.

I never had a problem with it.
