Thinking I might marry Ria but have to complete the Companions. I was made a member of the Companions circle and went on the Sliver Hand Quest, but when I got there I'd get killed with one or two hits, arrows would just drain me. This wasn't the usual me in a fight, I'm level 40 huh! I went there from a previous save before my circle initiation, and slaughtered them single handed. Are Companions weak against the Silver Hand ? I had a hard time getting to the boss then and then had no chance against that mob.

I'm pretty sure it's either because they aren't silver hand before you join the circle, or because werewolves are weak to silver (not sure if this applies to human form).

Silver weapons do not deal extra damage to lycanthropes, even when in beast form!

I was wondering if it was a random glitch, my weapon didn't have the usual power either. I may try again to see if I get the same.

silver weapons do extra damage against undead but are still very weak.

there is another thread about farkas being weak when player was level 30.

it could be a similar issue.
