Is there an info page on what exactly the single player is for this game?

Its the multiplayer maps played alone or with friends, in a certain order, against bots.

Basically.

So no storyline is actually defined?

http://www.fragworld.org/frag/community-blogs/brink-info-pt-1-story-gameplay-smart-classes-and-objectives.html is some info on the story, that might help you out. We know that the first mission takes place at the Aquarium.

there is a storyline, however, every chapter is unlocked from the beginning, so you do not have to play in order, although they ar organized in order and the campaign mode (which is mingle-player) automatically plays the game in order.

Two separate storyline's, one for Resistance, one for Security. So you get to watch two sides of the war.

So there is a storyline.

I'm sure the cutscenes, interactions, and observing the two sides of the story will make single-player an enjoyable experience.

It's not Multiplayer but with bots.

It's a normal singleplayer campaign.

Multiplayer is singleplayer but with people.
