skooma information warehouse

Post » Tue May 29, 2012 3:58 pm

I am doing the quest regarding the person who distribute skooma from the warehouse. I get the key from the Jarl and went there to stop him and I am suppose to get some information. I took the items from the pouch but seems the quest is stuck there. What am I doing wrong? tks

It's in Riften starts with a quest to expose the skooma dealer,. and is triggered buy giving a woman a health potion
that has lost her jobe cause of skooma

I'm stuck father on as I have no guest marker to know where to disrupt the skooma delivery

I'm on a PC I should have said earlier but there should be a way to move on a,.. looks like another broken quest

Checked online,.. seems if you clear the cave before the quest it breaks it and one may not be able to finish it which svcks

Not sure how to place a spoiler button in but I don't think in ths case a number is going to hurt 40

Some people get a bug with this quest if they previously cleared that dungeon. I had it on my first character. Some guy told me to retrieve something from that cave, and in the process I also killed the skooma guys, not knowing that they are needed for a quest later on.
The cave then respawned only with normal bandits, no skooma people(bartender/gambler).
I couldn't find any other workaround other than using the console to advance the quest.
Are you on the PC?

hmm, I'm not sure what you mean with that number...
You could wait 30 in-game days to see if the cave respawns with the skooma characters(I did that, they didn't respawn). If you choose to do this(maybe it works for you) DON"T go near/inside the cave for those 30 days, or the timer for respawn will reset.
If you want to advance via console, AND your current objective is " Disrupt the skooma operation" then type this:

SetObjectiveCompleted FreeformRiften01 30 1 then
SetStage FreeformRiften01 40

I wonder why they count Skooma as a drug in Skyrim.. It just gives you 25 stamina like any bad potion?

It's always been a drug, just this time for whatever reason they decided to not give you skooma addiction. And mostly everyone will buy skooma off you. Nice attention to detail, huh?
Starting to wish they'd just remake morrowind.

Kia Ora

I'd like to see a remake of both Morriwnd and Oblivion in this game engine so
we would have the 3 provinces to work through and travel over so that we would
and up with the whole of Tamriel in the end,.

I'd buy an import tool of of them if they where to make one even

I mostly mean that I miss the attention to detail and lore that was in Morrowind. I mean all the conversation suggests Skooma's still a horrible drug, but you can sell it to anyone who takes potions. There aren't any negative effects of consuming any amount of skooma.
Another example, seems their excuse for not putting many Khajiit in the game is that the Nords are racist and even the Khajiit that are in Skyim aren't allowed in cities. Please explain to me then, Bethesda, how is it that when the player chooses to make a Khajiit they are allowed everywhere just fine, they're even allowed to purchase property. You don't even get the "sneak thief" comments unless you train your sneaking...
And if their excuse to that is "Oh you're the dragonborn, no one's gonna mess with you", no one knows you're the dragonborn until after "Dragon Rising", and after that, apparently not everyone knows you're dragonborn, otherwise they wouldn't try to con you, kill you, etc. (Jareera and Deeja come to mind)

exactly.
and the only khajit characters in the game dont see you as a fellow khajit.
the only drug that feels like a drug when you drink it is the sleeping tree sap

Why do you keep saying Kia Ora....?
Kia Ora means hello in Te Reo Maori. It is the indigenous language of Aotearoa. I speak to you as Tangata Whenua (the people of the land).

Class dismissed :)

Another option is to continually resurrect and kill one of the bandits (open the console, click on them*, and run 'ResurrectActor'). I had the same problem, I went there and cleared it out beforehand, so when I had to clear it out for the skooma quest, only two of the enemies respawned (excluding the wolves). It seems the quest tracks the number of people you kill inside the cave during the quest, so there would be enough if you never went there before, but if you previously cleared it out, it doesn't respawn enough enemies to reach the internal counter. I resurrected and killed one of the bandits 4 or 5 times, and it eventually popped up the message that I completed it.

* It can be difficult to click on them, as it seems the dust particles get in the way. It helps if they're up away from the ground and if you can get really close. Once you do click on them, you don't have to click again (the NPC will stay selected when you bring up the console next time to resurrect them again).

Yes, I believe the Resurrect works too. If the respawn didn't clear the bodies by the time you realize it's bugged. For me they were gone. Hmmm, I wonder if the PlaceATme could work too....In any case, it's still a matter of solving a quest through the console, which is sad, not to mention not available to xbox/PS3...
