II just downloaded the latest version from a link in the mods section of these forums
yet ever time i run it it tell me to update to the latest version of Skyrim I 'm also running
the latest version of beta yet when i selected to join the beta steam restarted
and yet it didn't download the latest patch as in game my version number is 1.4.24.04
(not sure if that was the right number)
but anyway steam won't update any further despite there being a new beta update in steam settings.

Is there some way of making the steam beat download the latest patch.

Edit: Never mind seam i selected the steam beta update and not the Skyrim beta, it's now updating.
