Now for shield smashing barricades, that's how I'd do it IRL. Otherwise I might get hit by one of those spikes when I try to strike with my weapon.

You can also burn them with fire spell

Or you can just use your weapon. I think even bows can break them.

OP meant the wooden barricades you find in the Legions / Stormcloaks missions (you'll know when you see one)

But yeah, you can destroy spider web walls too.
