Due to the limited marriage options in Skyrim I have decided that my characters would stay single until better marriage options are included in future dlcs, or I get thE PC version and use console commands to marry anyone.

The marriage options for Xbox and PS3 users are poor. Some have got this tanned body, super pale face thing going on, some are just too mannish, e.g. the unbroken women in Whiterun. The housecarls dialogue doesn't change when you marry them and they still call you thane. Mjoll has the whole Aerin thing going on, the facepaint doesn't help, same with Aela, who looks like a man without it. The best looking marriage options, Senna, Sylgja and Muiri, either have a hood covering their face which you can't remove, bloody miners clothes and a pickaxe or their dialogue is bugged big time.

I'll be staying single until better marriage options come along. Maybe we'll be able to marry Harkons daugther. But seeing how big the elder scroll looked compared to her, she's most likely a kid. Oh well.
