Skyrim's BFG

Post » Thu Jul 12, 2012 4:05 am

I was walking from Riften to Solitude for something to do with DG,not telling you guys what quest or anything just it was for DG,anyway.I got to the hot springs beside Darkwater Crossing.I came across a lone giant,I drew my weapon and got ready to fight and then I realized he wasn't one of the other giants that send you to the moons.I walked beside him for a bit and then 2 sabre cats showed up so I took care of one and he stepped on the other. Then an ancient dragon decided to arrive and we fought that which was great!

Have any of you had this Giant aid you in battle?next time I see him,I'm gonna walk with him again.

Very occasionally, creatures which are normally hostile behave very nicely around my characters. Seems to be a random thing.

I had a giant help me take on a Blood Dragon and 3 vampires at the same time yesterday. Then he just walked off like it was no big deal.

He doesn't send you to the moons

Possibly,he was still awesome to see and he kept saying things but I couldn't understand what he said.

See, every time something like that happens to me, as soon as the dust settles the giant starts coming after me because I got too close, or fired a spell too close, and BOOM, moons. Hell, one time a giant got pissed at me because I fired off a light spell too close to him (mind you, I didn't hit HIM, I hit the boulder NEXT to him).

If I had healing hands I would do the same as the giant got down on one knee as I killed the dragon.

I ran across a giant along the road once and he didn't attack me either (nor did I attack him.) I think they will go hostile if you kill their mammoths, OR enter their camps. Since this guy I encountered was not near a camp, I guess he was basically "I won't giant-stomp you, if you don't shoot an arrow at me."

Giants on their own in the wilderness do not attack you even if you're standing right next to them. They only attack if you enter their camps or go near their mammoths. I've never had one aid me in battle.

So basically, they are friendly, but if you attack their mammoth or go near their camps they go crazy?

This however is different for the cows I sometimes see them with. For me at least.

when he says 'friendly' he means they dont go out of there way to instigate a fight with you, if you leave them alone they leave you alone
