Skyrim's Cloud

Post » Mon Jun 04, 2012 10:37 am

Hello folks,

Just a quickie I want to throw out to all you fellow forumers out there...

Is anyone using the new Xbox Cloud Saving system for their Skyrim saves instead of their HD? If so, what is it like?

I save on HD atm but am thinking about saving on Cloud instead.

Thanks in advance for any answers

Ciao

Its just the same as using the HDD or a memory card, the only difference is that you dont physically have the data as its stored online.

I've heard of Cloud. I may use it. But yeah, it's stored online.

EDIT: Ninja'd.

Can you access your data anywhere without worry of the licensing?

If you save your profile to the cloud you can access your game saves anywhere on any xbox.

I got skyrim on pc but do own a xbox 360.

My understanding when you choose the location to save your saved games. You choose either the hard drive OR the internet. I would assume you can't have it both ways. I beleive it is also cap on the amont of data they will save per game/profile.

Here's some more information regarding it:

As for what it's like. I would assume it would be the same as just using a save file from the hard drive except your pulling the save files from the internet (or the cloud I should say lol.)

Nice find Bigk. Also for others reading, there is an informative video about the new cloud features on the LIVE service in the school of xbox section.
