Skyrim Crashing at certain areas. : V

Every time get near some locations, the game just CTD. Also, when I tried to create a new character, the game also CTDed.

If that doesn't work:

2) Does it happen on previous saves?

I fixed the player creation crash, but travelling to certain areas still crashes my game. And, I don't see local on my Skyrim.

Changing saves won't help, and I verified it but it says "update paused."

I had this problem earlier and I just fixed it actually.

You won't fix it even if you disable all your mods. Its about uninstalling them one by one. You'll find the culprit... Mine was a mod that corrects a mesh fix of a certain mod. This mod had no .esp file so it wasn't on the activated list.

Hair mods, skin/body mods, texture replacers/enhancers, bug fixers... those are the type of mods you might want to take a look at.

If you have mods similar to this (mesh crash corrections/fixes) And you're experiencing the same crash at certain area problem. Then I advise you go through your mod list.

I have a similar issue with localised ctd's, 100% chance every time just outside Riften. If it's a mod I don't know which it is - I don't have any mesh or crash fixes installed. I've not got that many mods since I had a clear-out before I reinstalled, but checking through hasn't worked so far. Does unchecking mods work for testing or do I actually need to remove them altogether?

Not sure I have any that are without an esp (will check...)
