hi all im wondering if i will need to go and buy the another skyrim with the expansion/DLC disc from Shopping Mall Store or will it be downloadable available for purchase off the internet...?


Will you be waiting to create a new character or use your exsisting character to play the expansion...?


iam not worthy to play the elderscrols series because oblivion was my first elderscrols game and i did not read every book in skyrim that gave me a skill point that i greedily took...!

Skyrim is pretty much Steam exclusive, save for version 1.0 which is available in discs (and you'll need to update 'em via Steam anyway). As such, I think it's safe to say that any DLCs will be available for download, no extra discs required

Except if they want to bundle stuff like Knights of The Nine bundle

DLC- DownLoadable Content.

They may release things on disc later (most likely in a GOTY edition), but it will be downloadable first.

They will probably bundle at least some of the expansion content onto a disc eventually (like as part of a GOTY edition) but I guarantee you that all of the expansion content will start life as DLC.

Why would you think we have any information about this, no dlc has been announced so how are we to know how it would be obtained?

DLC, by definition is Downloadable Content. It will not be offered on disk initially. It may be bundled with the original game on disk once some or most of the DLCs have been released as a GOTY or Ultimate or Complete Edition. Note, the term chosen is up to marketing people.

This applies to all platforms.
