TES is including the ranged Kill cams from game Jam in the next update! I'm so glad this is a step in the right directions maybe in the next update they'll put in more awesomeness from game Jam!

I now actually have a slight hope we will get Spears not that I'd use the spear that much i just think it's the quintessential Nord weapon and should be in the game.

The next one???

For console users yes, but it already is live on some platforms. But I guess you will need to wait a bit longer, since there are so many crashes and bugs with ranged kill cams now, I think they need to resolve them before they give the patch to MS/Sony.

Also: ranged kill cams svck

But it's a step in the right direction: Here's hoping for more spell effects and spell combinations in order to achieve them, spears, mounted combat and seasonal foliage!

I'm also hoping for that giant mudcrab to make an appearance, and the ability to adopt children.

Magic kill cams are also boring: viewpoint switches, game enters slow motion, zoom on the victim being showered with magic energy.

I want a toggle switch! <_<

I think it's about time for the DLC. Why the hell is Bethesda taking so damn long?

Because this is Point Lookout to Shivering Isles size DLC, not some CoD Map Pack. Those big DLCs take time, you know.
I hope they won't do anything like Operation Anchorage though. It was cool, but very small and I hate questlocations you can't return to and do more stuff. In Point Lookout we had a whole new map to explore, with locations and many smaller quests here and there.
Anyone remember the Ghoul Arena or those Swamp folks? Lots of fun.

Well what about a cheaper dlc pack first, something for like 1 or 2 euros instead of 10. Spears + crossbow + flails with some addition to perks for that price doesnt seem bad, another 1 or 2 euros for a Dungeon update eg dark dungeons/ new layout for 1 or 2 dungeons and that super Draughr.

Only Bethesda really knows "when it's about time for a Dlc" consider that way: more time = better contents (hopefully)

What do you prefer ? a small/shallow Dlc or a new plot with (eventually) a new area/region to explore ?

They said, they don't want to do stuff like that anymore and most people in the community agree! "No more horse armor DLC!!!"

Patches and bugs come first. I applaud their decision to concentrate on that. In the meantime, I bet all those designers are not sitting idle...

Because if they came out with DLC before making the best attempts to fix the existing problems, EVERYONE would be complaining.

The game hasn't even been out for half a year. And we know that the plans for DLC are for expansion-sized content.

I can't wait to see the new kill cam's :woot: But I figured they would be out today? I'm starten to go stir-crazy in anticipation :ahhh: :banghead:
My guess for what will be in the new DLC is just about everything that was shown in the game jam video, Todd saying " I don't know " was just a diversion IMO.

It'd make playing my Leonidas char way more convincing.

You probably will have to wait a while longer. As I said before in this thread: The patch 1.5 included much more problems than it solved. They have a beta out for a newer patch and my guess is that's the patch that will come to consoles eventually.

*sigh* Sometimes it still is good to be a PC gamer.

Also the DLC might include some of the stuff from the game jam (the dungeon changes and tougher enemies), but most of the game jam stuff will probably be tested and, if there are no major problems, included in patches.

Haha, at one time I would have been right there with you. However, now she has a tazer.... :shocking: (by tazer I mean a very unimpressed look and the "why don't you do the washing whilst you wait?", crazy woman).
