Hi there guys.

Today when I was on my way home i thought of Skyrim and user made short films for Skyrim. And i was struck by an idea.
All of you might agree that the Main story line of Skyrim is epic and heroic. For me the games main story line has made a home deep in my heart just like Morrowind did.
And we all know that the story in this game has a lot of potential. So why not make a In-game movie out of it?

The million dollar question: Why to make it when you can play it?
Well think of it this way. There are lots and lots of people that don't have the machine to be able to run the game. And they don't have the economy to buy a better machine.
Or even better compnents for that matter. And yes they are quite expensive. Maybe for those of you who don't know that mostly if you buy a new CPU that can cost about $200 or 200 Euro
Here in Sweden a decent one can cost about 1500 to 2000 Swedish kronors. (I come from Sweden) You need to buy an entire new motherboard. And that can cost extra $100 or 100 Euro.
And with that sometimes you need new type of Ram memory and even a new graphics card. And all that can get very expensive. And to buy an entire new (gaming) machine well that can get pretty expensive to.
But if that answer does not satisfy you then the second answer is to give the community and the Elder Scrolls fans something new and diffirent.
And if you don't know there have been written books about the time between Oblivion and Skyrim the books are called "The Infernal City" and "Lord of Souls" by Greg Keyes.

The making of the film:
As i said the film would have to be in-game recorded. Why? Well that is simple. It is alot more expensive to make a real life movie in this proportion and size.
Most of the live action trailers are hight quality and must have cost alot ot do them. So to make it easier then it would have to be in-game.
And with the power of the Creation Kit it is possible. I've seen short in-game films made with Skyrim that are pretty much awesome and hardcoe.
And with some editing in Adobe after effects and Vegas you could say that it would be almost like Hollywood quality movie.
As to voice acting. Well everything is pretty much already there it is only the question of permission from bethesda. But this movie if it will be done would be a Skyrim community project.
But I for one do not know if this would be allowed to use voices of the actors in the game. When it comes to the hero himself. We would need a new voice actor.
And a good one aswell. Yet someone that is familliar with the game. And ofcourse one of the community.
However if we go back to the creation kit. We would need modders that could script certain events in the film. And that would require maybe a small team or even one modder that has expiriance with scripting.
And maybe some adjustments in the world would be required though it is not necessary.

Mods:
In making such movie it is allways required to use mods if you want to make it good. I would recommend using ENB mods and graphical mods mostly.
and maybe creating a custom mod for commanding events or something like that. Something like pose activators that were present in Oblivion.

The setting:
Ok let's get to the good part. The setting would be just the same as in the game. The same story but with small tweaks and new stuff to give it mor life, and to not make it exactly the same way as the game is.
Maybe we could add new extra characters. And some extra minor roles. To give the movie more life. But as I said before use most of the voice acting (if permitted by bethesda) and then add some custom voice acting by a skilled voice actor.
With custom lines. Just so it will not be a total ripp off.

Conclusion:
So this is practicly my idea. Thank you for taking your time to read this. I hope that this project will be taken into action and if it does. I would love to be a part of this project.
Though I'm not a skilled modder, But I could contribute to this project by writing movie script and the lines for the actors to say. And even help in directing.
