Well, in a world where potential death is always around the corner and there`s safety in numbers, it makes sense that it`s a bit easier to find partners. In our world today people can afford to get married and divorce like they`re in a sweetshop, but in the old days you stayed togther for mutual benefit of survival.

There could be a little more duration in the courtship process though.
