I have tried Google, all I got was people saying Skyrim was GotY or not GotY. From reading some threads and other stuff, there is a Skyrim GotY edition to buy now? I am puzzled by this. Game is just what, 6 weeks old and there is a new edition out now? Bethesda actually spent more money on repackaging the same game? I read somewhere that people saw different covers or something different on the cover, so I am puzzled by this.

Is there a Goty Skyrim to buy now? If so what is it, since there is no DLC or anything extra to get. Why sell a different copy of Skyrim and call it GotY edition and not have anything new on it?

No. If you see anyone trying to sell you a GOTY edition then it's obviously a scam.

I don't see any mention of a Skyrim GOTY edition on Amazon.com so I'd assume anyone claiming this is already in the works is mistaken.

It won GOTY from G4 and on SpikeTV, so there most likely will be a GOTY edition but not until like next year, when a few DLC's come out.

No, there are many different sites handing out this mostly worthless award but if Skyrim releases a GotY Edition then it probably wont be for a couple of years and would likely include most DLCs and expansions.

bethesda's GOTY editions have all the DLCs in it so I dont see how there can be a Skyrim GOTY if there are no DLCs

I wish I could find the thread I read it in, so I can ask there. Someone said their sister got a copy of Skyrim and the box was a bit different with a 10 out of 10 review on it. Something about installing to the 360 HDD and showing no issues so maybe a different version patched on it. Then I read about GotY, so was thinking UH? GotY edition out already?

After thee initial 10 million units that were shipped start to get replaced by newly made copies it only makes good marketing sense they would include review scores and awards won on the cover.
