Skyrim Headless Horseman Easter Egg - 1080p - Entire Encount

Post » Thu May 31, 2012 3:25 pm

My encounter with the Headless Horseman in Skyrim from the initial sighting all the way to the undead-infested graveyard to which he leads. I came across him running west along the road just south of Whiterun. The journey ended at Hamvir's Rest graveyard to the northwest of Whiterun.

This is the PC version of Skyrim on maximum graphical settings captured in 1920 x 1080 resolution.

So, where can you find his head to return it to the horseman? Do you ever see him again now that he's lead you to the graveyard? Who killed the headless horseman? Why?

I randomly ran into this guy one night as well. I drove myself crazy trying to catch up with him, dismount, and talk to him. Eventually I just gave up and followed him for a while... right to that graveyard.

it is an easter egg. You put too much detail into an easter egg and it loses its easter egginess.

Oh, so it's just another one of those things Bethesda didn't take the time to expand into anything interesting. Shame.

who's to say it won't be expanded at a later date? granted that's not the sort of thing beth traditionally releases as DLC but who knows.

i can say that i'd be willing to be once the CK is released, modders will be all over it. :celebration:

I'm thinking he's the ghost of the coffin/crypt on the left side. If you look in the gate you find a nice helmet, a skull, and a big axe. The coffin on the right is plain, the one in the middle has a guy in it that wants to hug you, but the one on the left is the only one that has any kind of treats or details inside. I'm thinking he's the ghost of the dead guy on the left.

I've seen the ghost once, but had found and cleared the site actually much earlier. I followed him there and it started glitching out and he twitched and floated up into the air. I tried to talk to him but the game crashed. :(

Yes when I came across this guy I did some research online to find that a lot of people have seen him flying around and going nuts. Mine was running on the path so I decided to follow him and see what happened :)

Youtube won't let me choose TV/Mobile syndication due to the copyright restrictions on the music. I'll keep this in mind if I do another video as I definitely want to be able to have it accessible via mobile devices.
