So long story short, I just started Skyrim up for the first time in a while. Updated and added some mods.

Went to play and my map was a mess. Not knowing what the culprit was, I disabled all the mods controlling the map and deleted the .ini file completely so the game would generate a new one for me (I saved my old .ini elsewhere as a back up). Loaded the game and made a fresh save. Went back to the newly generated .ini, and I imported all the [MapMenu] info from my old. Went back to the game and nothing changed.

The biggest indicator is the clouds on the map. I hate the clouds on the map...

Now, every change I make to the .ini has no effect on the map.

What are my options here to fix this..?

And I also had settings to remove the clouds, but now I have the clouds back.

Thanks for the reply. Seems I'll just have to wait it out while it gets fixed. I appreciate you pointing me in the right direction.
