Hi everyone. I have played through skyrim but i played as what i played as through oblivion ... a warrior. I really want to try something new. I unwillingly switched from redgaurd to dark elf. I picked the theif stone. I really want to be an archer but have some magic. Can someone give me some insight on a good build for archery / destruction. I would also like some sneak added to that. If you could help it would be greatfull. Oh and what kind of armor should i use =D? Thx.

How did you unwillingly switch from Redguard to Dark Elf??

Are you looking for a race that would amplify your build? Then I would recommend a Dark Elf.

Are you looking for a race based on aesthetics / roleplay / other preference? Then go ahead and pick whatever.

As far as your armor choice, it sounds like Light Armor would benefit you more. If you are going to be sneaking, you will sneak more effectively in Light Armor than in Heavy Armor (unless you put in a very hefty investment into Heavy Armor to make it weightless). Archery and Destruction means you'll probably be moving around a bunch, striking from a distance, and not from close range, so Heavy Armor will just weight you down.
