Skyrim vs Kingdoms of Amalur

Post » Sat Jun 09, 2012 11:35 pm

Skyrim is a better game no question about it ,but for those of you that might be undecided i'm haveing fun playing KOA . It's kind of like Fable only better at least so far . Character creation is good the graphics are WoW like but cool and the combat and magic so far are cool to. I am just getting ready to level up for the first time. I've just started this game but my initial impression is it's fun and engaging. There are some cool finishing moves and there are boss battles, this game has it's charms.

You really didn't give an in depth comparison of both games, but instead only barely mentioned Skyrim in your post, so this really has nothing to do with Skyrim.

No EA games for me. EA needs to die, I will not buy their games anymore.

Yeah, I learned my lesson with Dragon Age, although I will say KoA looks promising, but really cannot compare with Skyrim.

I believe there is already a discussion in the community forums for KoA related topics is what I was really trying to get at.

I just downloaded the demo, and watched plenty of streams before hand... IMO, I don't like the art and graphics style, the movement and controls feel clunky, combat is the only thing I enjoyed, but even that gets old as multiple enemies will literally stand around you as you fight the other enemy. I didn't have time to get into the story. Reminds me too much of fable, and that's not a good thing. Won't be buying. Maybe when it goes on sale.
