Skyrim Master Difficulty Help

Post » Sun Jun 24, 2012 10:40 am

I am planning on doing a master difficulty playthrough of Skyrim and I wanted to know what is the best type of race to be. Not on starting skills, but racial abilities. I also want to know what are the most difficult enemies on master. I have heard that Frost mages are just annoying. I was thinking about making a Nord Warrior/Mage with the Lord stone to boost the magic resistance to 75% frost and 25% to all other magic. Would this be a good character or would another character be better like a Breton, although they don't particually make good warriors and I think that Battlecry is better than dragonskin. So what race should I be and what other tips can you give, like what quests should I do first and what other things should I do. Thanks for the help. Another thing is, is a jack of all trades character good on master difficulty?

Breton.

Racial, Agent of Mara, Lord Stone = 65% Magic Resistance, only 20% short of capping. 2 points into the Alteration Perk caps you out. Other races require enchants of some sort to cap.

Assuming you don't care about RP/looks/etc, Breton is the best race for min/max.

i was an orc with the same stone, your gonna have to get sneak attack crits for the big bosses as well as do smithing/enchanting exploits or your gonna get [censored]. dodge arrows by moving from side to side or you'll regret it. starting out is when it's hard, from the middle of the game on it'll get easier if you build right.

Yea i agree. I think sneak is the best play type that is most suited for master difficulty.
