SKYRIM menu's

Post » Mon May 28, 2012 4:41 am

hi guys, let me start off by saying im new here, but ive played the elder scroll games for many years, and also, WOW, skyrim is simply awesome, this is what RPG's should base themselves on for many years to come, well done bethesda

however, i have just a small complaint, but im sure it would make the game alot more streamlined, its the menus, or rather, lack of sub menu's. the actual menu's are fine, but, say for instance, when you go into 'APPAREL', it would be helpfull and save huge amounts of time if it has sub menu's like 'boots', 'necklaces', 'helmets' and so on.

same with chests in your home and so on, i have hundreds of items in a chest in my house, yet they are all in one menu, takes blooming ages to go through everything, just think a few sub menu's would help greatly.

apart from this, and the odd little glitch (none of which are big enough to ruin the game for me), im loving skyrim, what a fantastic title, one of the best games ive played in 25 years of gaming, and i hope one day we will get a new fallout with this engine ;)

im sure this has been raised, but im still figuring out how to use these forums for searching topics and so on, so please no moaning, peace

Totally agree with this. At the moment it's okay because I don't have many items in my house, but in the future I can see myself searching for ages to find something. Sub menus would be a nice addition.

the only alternative i can think of is placing things in multiple chests in your home, but, without spoiling anything, thats a challenge in itself. doesnt fix the problem with your inventory though.

if they added sub menu's in a patch, the game would be nigh on perfect

better add that im on xbox, i guess items will be easier to get too on pc with the added speed of a mouse, but on console, going through items takes forever.

the skills tree's are a bit of a nightmare too, getting around the perks can be awkward, it misses some out completely, hope they fix this
