---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay everyone me and my buddy pulled an all nighter today and during that we were playing skyrim. We were talking about new DLC's and what they should add may it be VIA new werewolf stuff or something along those lines. Though my buddy and I began talking about something completely different. I love the Knights Of The Nine, always have. Because there is just something about being a warrior of light, doing what is right in the face of impossible odds.

That got me to thinking, I write fake skyrim lore as a hobby. WHile I was writing my buddy and I came up with the following for a DLC, so please bear with me. I have a feeling you will like it, and if not. Then at least I got the idea out there.

"Paragon"

The Dragonborn is visited in a dream (Sleep to activate quest) and is startled by what he see's. The Dragonborn see's Talos before him, Talos tells him the following "that it is time. A darkness will rise, and you cannot defeat it. Unless you follow me in the footsteps that lead me to the devines. Take your rightful place as the 10th devine, the protecter of Tamriel and do what I and the other devines could not. Protect the people while you walk among them".(Walk away from Talos to stop the quest from continuing) The Dragonborn awakes in a cathedral, it is so bright at first. Then the light begins to dim, as he see's a man. With a golden Aura glistening off of his angelic armor, everything is dark except for that man. The knight begins to step forward approaching the Dragonborn. He says to the Dragonborn with just a Whisper that pierces the Dragonborns soul with the little words that came out of his mouth. The knight said "Kill me." Upon these words the Dragonborn draws his/her weapon while the knight just stands there, so bright and beautiful he was how could I harm him. The dragon born sheaths the sword, sparring the Paragon. The man turns to the dragonborn and releases his soul into the Dragonborn, killing himself while giving the Dragonborn the gift. Though if you slay the Paragon, you would have consumed the cursed paragon through the cold blood you spilled. (Which by killing or sparing the paragon is what set's up the DLC with a choice that decides your path in the DLC) You are then told by the paragon with his last words to call to the Divine within yourself and all will be clear. Upon doing this, a light flashes on the players screen slowly as is looks like it is enveloping the Dragonborn in the light. As it begins to fade, the Dragonborn see's that all of his armor and weapon has changed. That he is now part divine, and the whole time he was being watched by the other Gods in that hall. They tell you that you are not divine, though will be granted great power, people will call you the 10th divine. Though are far from it, they begin to tell the Dragonborn the following. "We sacrificed our powers in order to create your plane of existence. We now reside in our own domains to secure our immortality. Though we will not grant you Divinity for it would mean you becoming stronger than us, Talos may stand beside you though who else in the Pantheon will stand with you?"

Lore Updated as of 7/16/12

(I will Continue to add the lore and story for the Evil and the Good paragon so stay with me)

"The Paragon Ability"

Call upon your divine nature at will, when you do this you are a warrior of light. Your weapons are most of your abilities, though not all. And first person would be optional given you are still technically human.

Weapons

- The Bow of the righteous

- The sword of the Divine

- The mace of the savior

- The axe of the merciful

- And all the two handed weapons, each weapon would have it's own design. And can be accessed from the normal player mode, though their divine powers cannot be accessed unless you take the form of the paragon. And all the weapons and powers can be accessed through the favorites like the vampire mode.

Powers

- Call upon your "Divine Sanctuary" when you are in dire need, surround yourself in the golden aura and bow while your health and other abilities regain again.

- At the cost of half of your health, call upon Healing Grace and heal your allies around you to full health.

(More powers will be added upon inspiration)

Weapons

- Bow Of The Murderer

- Sword Of The Conquerer

- Axe Of Corruption

- Mace Of Malice

Powers

- Call upon Evil inception to tear the flesh and mind of your enemies around you to fight until their very death.

I read up a ton on the lore behind the divines, and I am creating the story within the laws OF the game lore. It is possible to become divine without sacrificing your powers. Because you are not trying to create a planet. Although like I said before, he the Dragonborn will not be completely Divine as of yet.

If anyone doubts me go here and read http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Nine_Divines

Now to answer your question, there will be severe game change if you become a corrupt Paragon though i am have not completely developed that portion yet.

ok

Now I did some looking around, and it seems as though the Divines are still present. At least present in that they keep contact with the physical world. I am still doing some reading, though the Aedra and Divines are considered the same thing.

They are bent to peoples perception, though exist on their own. Such as the Deal with Lorkhan, or arkay and mara. The devines had love affairs between each other, so I wonder if going to their realm of reality would show them for what they are?
