Skyrim Patch 1.5 brings more that fixes

Post » Mon Jun 11, 2012 1:28 pm

Since you can sidestep magic and arrows easily, if they allow NPC, specifically a Dragur Deathlord which can do 1300 damage to an unarmored mage on Master, to do kill animation on the Player, we might have a problem.

So I guess I should be exited, but i cant help to think that this should have been in the back in november, but one can only assume they were way to busy making the deadline.

Sorry I couldnt help myself :D haters gonna hate! Bow and magic killcams are gonna be awsome

I prefer it going in now rather than going in at release and being buggy and causing butthurt and rage the gaming world over!

That's a good forum, I'm also on there as well. You guys should check it out a great community for gaming forums and hardware PC discussion. :D

But anyway if there is going to be free dlc in form of updates they're going bring in for game jam then I hope it's true cause that'd be neat. Sadly i won't be holding my breath though seeing as i don't want to be disappointed.

Perhaps not posting this "early" draft means there adding more stuff into the patch?

Unless they include a toggle option, then it will most definatly not be awesome.

A million times this.

This is awesome. Hopefully we'll get other scraps thrown our way along with other future updates too. I was just thinking the other day that more kill animations would be nice. Now we get them for archers and mages too. Nice.

Oh, and please don't forget the toggle on/off feature Beth

I really don't want more kill cams. The graphic was cool the first 20 or so times I saw it. Now it's just annoying. If I could disable them, I would.

dunno about new kill cameras. Dunno why they're adding this in when they're supposed to be fixing the PS3 version. :(

Not every person in the team will work on fixing a version of the game. Animators are probably not needed there. Hell, not every coder is wanted (too many programmers will just create a mess) so this really doesn't affect the PS3 patching.

Dang, the whole point of playing a mage was that there were no annoying finishing moves.

This is how dlc should be handled. Free little tidbits and huge paid bundles of fun.

Indeed. In this day and age when developers make you pay for a freaking belt, this is refreshment.
Still tough, they sure are taking their sweet time with announcing what the first big DLC will be about... I like that they are taking their time to make it good but... I NEED it.

"In addition to a number of new bug fixes, we're now using title
updates as an opportunity to add new features to the game. Included
in this update, players will be able to enjoy all-new kill cameras,
including ones specific to ranged combat and magic.

Sound familar? That's probably because they had a cameo in the Game
Jam video [1] shown during Todd Howard's DICE keynoteTodd Howard
presented at DICE."
