Playing Skyrim earlier and I got this sort of 'fire-crackle' static emitting from all of my speakers. Curious, I did several things in-game to make sure I wasn't an idiot. Thinking my home-theatre system was failing me AGAIN, I went to a website that has helped me with HTIB issues before, thinking THIS one I have now was failing me.

I felt kinda bad wasting their time there on the site. They told me to unplug some cords, check all sources, etc. I apologized for wasting their time, and I told them it was the GAME that produced it. After restarting Skyrim, the static was gone; I'm completely baffled, I've never had a game do that before.
