I was going to make a thread very similiar to this, but the video makes very important points. In this day and age of the gaming industry, all we get most of the time is $60 of hard earned money being spent for a half finished game. I own Saints Row the Third, and as his video points out, despite how good the game is, it is VERY short, and with THQ announcing 40 weeks of DLC for SRT, it's a very dike move to do. Now people will buy the DLC because it will add on to the game to extend it's story, which is in poor taste. Like Jim said, Skyrim is amazing because it doenst rely on multiplayer or announced extended periods of DLC, Skyrim can stand on it's own two feet like a big boy. SRT feels like it NEEDS DLC for the fun to carry on, Skyrim's like the cool brother with the cool friends in terms of it's future DLC, it wont NEED to rely on it's DLC because it's already cool enough on it's own.
I really wish the game industry wasnt filled with aweful COD spam every 5 weeks and half done games that screw you for DLC, CoD in my opinion is a cancer because it's fanbase will keep buying a reskinned version of the older games. and if games these days keep relying on multiplayer and DLC to make the game fun, in 10 years the gaming community will largely be nonexistant :l
