What I am suggesting is that once Skyrim has been released and things calm down, they should definitely port it to the Vita.
-The Vita has a duel core processor, and the handheld display would allow Bethesda to shrink down texture sizes without sacrificing graphics.
-Memory won't be a problem, considering the Vito will only download games. No need to cram on a disc.
-Intuitive and console like controls will allow for smooth game-play on a handheld, with added functionality.
-Grand Theft Auto was ported to the original PSP. This proves that current gen console games CAN be ported to next gen handhelds.
-The PSP Vita's console like online integration allows for patches to be released, and DLC to be acquired.
This would be a full on port, not a "hand-held" elder scrolls.
The Vita's hardware is definitely capable: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jb00UkJNas8
Update: I just found out Todd is very interested in the Vita, so we could be expecting something in 1-2 years. At this point, i'm guessing a remastered Oblivion for PSP Vita would be highly probable.
