Skyrim Rehab

Post » Thu Jun 21, 2012 1:38 pm

I'm guessing from the number of Skooma dealers populating the roads and empty wine bottles littering the lairs of necromancer types that substance abuse is a problem in Skyrim.

And after being told countless times that I "look pale" or may have the "rattles" or "ataxia", I've found myself with a "cure potion" monkey on my back that I can't seem to kick.

I've been looking around for a rehab (Junkies Redoubt, Cave of the Forlorn Addict ... that type of thing) to check into and kick this insidious cure potion habit but no luck so far.

Personally, I blame the alchemists, most of whom seem intent on getting you hooked on th potions they push by convincing you that you're ill with one dire disease or another.

lol

presonally I became more devoted to the shrines of Gods than the preists themsleves, every time I go to an alchemist:

Oh you looks sick maybe your dying

and I run off to a shrine and BAM instant blessing XD

Arcardia is just lying to you to try to sell you potions. Ignore her and just say http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KUmZp8pR1uc&ob=av2e. Well, maybe that's a bad example. ;)

Eh, is there really a need for a rehab facility in Skyrim? The Skooma is watered down crap compared to what you could score in Cyrodiil, back in the day. But that's how it goes, dealers cut this with all kinds of crap to maximize their profits.

I've had them tell me I look sick even when I'm not, so I think you're right. They're pushers. That and I rarely sleep, so that might have something to do with looking a little on the pale side. I'm sure if I didn't sleep for 8 days in real life I would look a little ill.

It's not a habit, it's cool, I feel alive. I'm not an addict.

Somewhat of a problem, yes. Might have something to with the absence of non-alcoholic drinks?
