Skyrim on SSD, other Steam games on another disk

Post » Sun May 27, 2012 11:44 pm

This is probably a Steam question, but is it possible to install Skyrim on the C: partition (my SSD drive) and other Steam games on the D: disk? I would prefer to play Skyrim at full speed from SSD and other games, which I play less frequently, from a slower disk.

Google "Steam Mover", it'll do what you want.

Both of the solutions above are what you want and they do it the same way except steam mover is likely more user friendly for those that doesn't know what a symbolic link is ;)
