Stupid me, I know. However it seems the whole of Skyrim for Steam is now busted. I couldn't launch Skyrim before - it would just "Could not connect to Steam Server" or "Could Not Launch Game". So I deleted my Saved Games file, and told Steam to Delete Local Content for Skyrim so I could do a clean install with no mods to start. However it did the "Uninstalling Skyrim" thing.....and then swithced to "Download Starting" and is now stuck there. I manually deleted my Skyrim files to try and fix it, but it didn't work - its still stuck on "Download Starting".
Shutting down Steam didn't help either (totally ending the process, not just exiting it). Clicking on Skyrim in any way causes Steam to hang for a few moments before finally working. I don't know what to do. And asking Steam Support for help is useless, as anyone who has tried will know - it often takes a week for more for them to even acknowledge a submitted ticket. So I don't know what to do.
And in my Skyrim DLC, I have that thing where it says I own the Japanese Dawnguard and that Valve Test App, like a lot of other people who have been having issues.
