If it's the letter from "a friend" who tells you where there is a source of power, that happens when you use a shout in dungeons as well. I don't think you're getting an extra quest by shouting in towns or houses.

Your not getting anything special just those kill bandit leader or words of power.

16. This is more of pain but always check around town after a dragon attack and make sure nobody important to you is left dead on the ground. The last tip I have goes along with this one. If you do find someone dead that you wanted alive then reload a previous save which you should have no problem doing since you save all the time.

another approach, you know that the dragon going to pop soon (because you reload from a save game), run to some place far away from the people mass, the dragon will generally pop near you. you may need to go open place or higher ground to aggro the dragon, sumon a flame elemental can help too.

I decided l add this tip just in case people don't a few people don't realize there are other awesome Bethesda games. If you just started playing Skyrim and you love it then after your done with it go try fallout 3, fallout new vegas or oblivion or even earlier elder scrolls games. You'll be in love. Out of all the games you'll find at least one that you'll be obsessed with. I love them all but that's just me and millions of other people. I know it not really a tip but it's something I thought was crucial for people new at Bethesda games.
