Skyrim Trading

I personally think that the biggest let down in Skyrim is the trading. it just seems that like every merchant is big rip off. i just hope Bethesda make it so you can actually make a profit from trading.

That's a big part of the speech skill - selling goods for more and buying them for less. If you ask me, merchants should be much harder to bargain with, in order to make the speech skill a really valuable one.

Put perks into the speech tree, and use jewelry of haggling. I make massive profits on all my characters.

We used to be able to haggle in morrowind and oblivion, why can't we do that now?

You just need to get better at it. You can get better prices with higher speech skills, blessing of zenithar, potion of haggling or barter, amulet of zenithar, necklace of haggling.

When you start out you get bad deals. You buy 100 gold item for 300 gold and sell it for 33 gold. But when you get good at trading you can buy the same item for 105 gold and sell it for 95.

would be nice to have an online trading market maybe. If you guys have played RS they have a general exchange where you can trade with thousands of players, similar to WoW trading thing.

this idea is an old one but what do you guys think?
