Skyrim Update making it impossible to play Skyrim on Xbox.

So a few weeks ago I encountered a problem with Skyrim. If I started my Xbox 360 with the game disk inserted it would take far longer to start the 360 than it would have if no disc was inserted. In the main menu of the Xbox Dashboard the Skyrim avatar never appeared on the "Play X" ikon. When I tried starting the game it would either load for around 10 seconds before sending me back to the dashboard, or give me the warning about Unrecognized Disc, tell me that my disc was scratched and needed to be cleaned [The disc is in perfect condition] or it would show me an error message with a code that I found out meant that I was using a pirated copy of the game, which I was not. Skyrim was the only game that caused me these problems. After some time I tried deleting the systems cache of my harddrive, it didn't work. I then tried to transfer my latest save to a USB while I deleted all Skyrim data on my harddrive and then transferring my save back, this method worked temporarily. The day after my Xbox took longer than usual to start up just like before, and the problems were back. At the time I had no idea what caused these problem, from what I read online it seemed that the coding in the latest Skyrim update goes against the the piracy coding on the Xbox. Today I did the same method I did before in order to get my Xbox to work but when I was prompted to update my game I did not do it, and now it works perfectly. So it now seems it is the Skyrim update that breaks everything. Are Bethesda aware that their own Update breaks the game for numerous people?
I just confirmed that it is the update that breaks the game, just now I had trouble starting Skyrim, I then deleted the update and tried again and it worked immediately.
