Skyrim will not launch for me NO MATTER what I try.

I have the launch problem where you click play from the launcher, it will ask you to allow skyrim to make changes to you computer and you accept and it loops back to the launcher.

I never originally had this problem. I bought this game at launch and was able to play it no problems on my pc which is quite high end until a patch was released somewhere down the line, and then I started having this problem.

My specs:
Intel Core I7 960 3.20 GHz
6gb ram
2x Radeon HD 6870

I have read up on many fixes to this problem:

I have verified game data quite literally a thousand times.
I have tried using the actual skyrim.exe from the directory and it still goes to the launcher.
I have cleared out all my mods and saved games.
I have deleted content and reinstalled skyrim countless times, I have even tried uninstalling steam and reinstalling steam and skyrim from my skyrim dvd.
I have tried using the external installation programmes (Direct x10, DotNetFx, ect) as directed by the steam technical forums.
I have tried deleting both the Skyrim Launcher executable and the Skyrim executable from the directory than verifying game data to redownload them and it still did not work.
I have tried launching Skyrim while in offline mode.

All my drivers are up to date as of today. Yet I still have the same recurring problem: Skyrim will NOT launch. I can't play a game which I paid £29.99 for.

Is there anything I'm missing?

There is no skyrim.exe, it's TESV.exe. Not sure if that was a mistake in the post or if you actually have something called "skyrim.exe"

What you can try is installing SKSE (http://skse.silverlock.org) and running it via skse_loader.exe

Aye sorry I mean't TESV.exe.

I'll try installing the SKSE. Thanks!

Edit: I have tried using the SKSE and it came up with an error message: "Launching C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim\TESV.exe failed (740)."

Yes! I've finally got it working! I tried running the program without administration level and funnily enough that seemed to make it work.?

Thanks for trying Phantom :)
