Best DLC, that I am inclined to disagree with, though I am not sure what other DLC was contending so maybe I am wrong. I was not particularly enamoured by Dawnguard.
As for best RPG, contending with Mass Effect 3, which was not an RPG really at all, and Diablo 3, which I did not play, I suppose that is correct by me.

well Dawnguard is huge and added alot of new content. compared with other games and DLC that i have played that usually only add a new string of mission or one new area to wander around it does make Dawnguard look fairly spectacular
Quite the achievement! We all got cocky a bit and looked at horses teeth at some points, but in total, we're all glued on our chairs/sofas and we play this game. No game is perfect, Skyrim isn't even close, but much closer than most of the games I played. I think it's well diserved
How dawnguard was even considered for best dlc is just incredibly stupid. How can a dlc win anything if it isn't complete yet???
Or maybe they consider horse combat as dlc, if so the standards for these awards has really been lowered.
And game of the year?? Seriously the game was incredibly buggy and support has been lousy. I guess that whole thing where people get an A for effort but ultimately fail in their job has gone beyond the middle school level and infiltrated professional society. Next thing you'll see is that they no longer keep score in MLB games.
I smell payoff.
Darksouls had much better stability, support, mechanics, story, and they don't hold back on any platform.
Best moment in a game. Climbing the Throat of The World. I'll never forget it. Fighting off wolves, reading the stones and talking to the pilgrims on the way up. And then coming to an encounter with a Frost Troll. Running away and spamming it with arrows in a fight that probably lasted about 20 minutes cause i was probably like level 10 with no fire enchants and weak fire spells And then meeting the Greybeards

My thoughts exactly! I wish I could wake up one day and forget I ever played Skyrim, and experience that whole thing once again.
on ps3 skyrim is a total failure, so whats your point.
Ummmm...he was disputing someone elses claim that Dark Souls doesn't "hold back on any platform" which is completely false. PC version blows. Did you even read thein post?

The fact Bethesda won is completely disgusting and disgraceful. I guess they don't consider performance all platforms, customer support, or customer service into the equation when bestowing an award. I wonder which version the judges were looking at, or did Bethesda "forget" to send out a PS3 copy again?
