Skyrim won't Launch!

Post » Wed May 30, 2012 4:02 am

Hi, I can't launch Skyrim at all anymore. I was playing for a while, as everyone was, and recently got several mods on my Skyrim. After a couple weeks the latest update came out and now I can't launch Skyrim at all. I made sure my drivers are updated, I made sure that I can run it hardware wise, I uninstalled and reinstalled Skyrim twice, with no Mods, with and without the new High Resolution Textures mod, verified the files on Steam and done everything under the sun that I know I can to fix this problem. I keep getting an error message whenever I click Play on the launcher, or whenever I click the Skyrim.exe application file; "This version is NOT supported; supported patches: 1.3.10.0us". I am not getting any patches, I've tried following instructions and deleted a particular BLOB file, forcing Steam to update and still nothing. Does anybody have idea on how I can get my game running again?

Right. Update SKSE and Script Dragon to the latest versions.

That's weird, because that's what comes up when they are not updated to work with the version you are running...

Maybe you installed a mod that had them packaged in it(not orthodox at all)? Just check your skyrim folder for a skse folder to make sure.

Try launching the game directly from the exe or if there are multiple try different ones. IF not, close all other programs running, ive had skyrim not start because I was running a particular mod and mumble so wierd I know...
