The Problem:
When I press 'play' I get a pop-up saying 'Steam error - The game failed to launch (error code 51)'
When trying to open from the game files I get the error message 'Steam error - Application load error - 3:00000065432'
This is a list of all the things I've tried:
- Reinstalling
- Renaming 'steamapps' folder and reinstalling
- Running as admin
- Running in offline mode
- Disabling cloud
- Verifying game cache
- Defragmenting game cache
- Reinstalling steam
- Uninstalling brower toolbars
- running a registry check
- Reinstalling .NET 4
- Reinstalling C++ 2010
- turning all graphic options down to minimum before launching
I've wiped my entire harddrive, deleted its partitions and did a clean install of windows 7 64bit - and once I was operational, I ONLY installed NVIDIA graphics car drivers (295.51)and Steam, then downloaded Skyrim - but still the same issue occurs.
'My documents' folder is in its default place.
