H2O works, Food Works, Sleep never moves off zero. Have I bugged hardcoe mode?

Perhaps you're waiting by accident? I helped someone before who was going up to beds and hitting the [wait] key instead of [using] the bed.

I guess I didn't explain. During normal game play my dehydration level increases, my starvation level increases, yet my sleep meter never moves off 0. I never need sleep, yet I am always needing to drink and eat.

In the original content or in Dead Money? I don't believe that I have. I entered dead money at level 17 hardcoe mode seemed to be working properly, I required sleep, food and water at the normal rates. Now in Dead Money, the sleep meter doesn't seem to be working and I have never gotten the message about being exhausted.

Right now I'm about one third the way through Dead Money again, on hardcoe. My sleep meter hasn't moved either. Didn't need sleep on my other run through, now that I think about it. Water and food working normally.

Spoiler
In the medical center there are a number of auto-docs, and they have an option to "cure exhaustion" or some such. I used them on both characters. I was wondering what the hell they did, maybe they had some effect on our need to sleep?

Yeah, the auto-docs make your SLP meter irrelevent. I don't remember how I got mine to work again exactly. Probably from drinking Nuka Cola (+SLP) or something.
