In my last session, I encountered a bug that caused NPCs to slide around the ground or spin in place, as well as another bug (I think) that permanently weakened the enchantments on my equipment. Has anyone else experienced these, and know how to fix them, or just the enchantment bug, at least.

I had finished the Destruction mastery quest, and then discovered the Lover stone, but didn't activate it. On my way back to Markarth, I noticed an NPC spinning in place. I thought it was nothing, and continued to the Orc stronghold south of Markarth, and noticed two of the orcs sliding around as well.

As for the enchantments being weakened, I'm not sure when exactly that kicked in. I loaded a quicksave I made just moments after reading the completed Power of the Elements book, and my enchantments were already weakened by then.


I do have a number of mods running, but it's unchanged for months, and this is the first time it has happened. I disabled the mods I thought would be responsible for the enchantment bug (magic and enchanting related mods), but the enchantments remained weakened.

I reactivated the mods and loaded an earlier save which I had just finished the 2nd part of the Power of the Elements, and everything was fine. I retraced my steps via fast travelling, and the enchantment and sliding NPC bugs didn't come up again.
