Slow motion glitch every time i block

Post » Thu Jun 07, 2012 10:26 pm

so i took that perk that slows down time when a power attack is incoming, and now my game goes into perma slow motion when i use it, this is extreamly annoying and is happening every time i block. saving and reloading the save fixis it until I try to block again. no idea what to do.

The only thing I know about this is that sometimes when I block a power attack and move away, even when I stop blocking, the slow motion continues for, oh 5-10 seconds or so. The only thing I can think of doing (since I'm on the 360, and not a pc) is to either revert to an earlier save where you don't have that perk, stop blocking (that might be a problem), or you'll have to make a new character.

You mean, the slow motion effect won't go away even after the combat ends?

You using Spellbreaker?

UESP says the fix is to go to load a different cell (new area) or wait a day. Though waiting is only a slight improvement, and loading a different cell is supposed to completely fix it.

Can't comment if it works or not, hasn't happened to me.

Good luck!

*EDIT*

Also, there are quite a few gremlins in perspective.

If it keeps happening in 1st, try 3rd... and vice versa.

It's not a glitch, well not really.

It's the perk in the block tree that causes slow motion. Sometime when it's first triggered when an enemy tries to power hit you if you kill them really fast then it stays active because it didn't register with the game.

Just quicksave then quick load, it usually goes away. Or, just wait a couple seconds to kill the enemy.

Now that I think about it, I guess it could be considered a glitch.

If quicksave/quickload doesn't work then you have to quit and restart the game.

I've had it happen before too. It went away eventually, but I don't know a specific fix.
