I got Skyrim for Christmas but I avoided opening it until just today because of all the problems with it on the PS3. I installed it and began playing it today with the 1.5 patch and noticed two things off the bat. One was the twinkling shadows (after a google search I found this to be a common issue) and the second being how sluggish the game feels...

Now the last game I played was Oblivion so that is the comparison I am using, so I was wondering if this slow feeling is just how this game is supposed to feel or is it that the infamous framerate problem that has been associated with the PS3? It started right from the beginning introduction and I have not played far into it.

It seems playable but during battles it just does not seem to have the crisp responsiveness that Oblivion had.

So is this 'moving through mud' feeling the way it should be? Or is it ideally supposed to feel like Oblivion?...
