Hey, just a question.. anyone know what the Sluice Gate Key is for? Found it in the smelters house in Markarth.

My guess is the Sluice gate.

Considering a 'sluice' is often a word used to describe how one would wash something covered in [censored], I'm guessing it's something to do with canols, or drains, or sewers? It's apt for Markarth, then.

it is that i can't find any lock that requires that key.. but there is allways a chanse that it is just useless..

A sluice is also a water-trough with a downhill slope, full of fast running water, for a type of mining - panning for gold, anyone? Actually, heavy metals drop to the bottom of the sluice and are more easily found once the water is shut off....
