Am I the only one for whom smithing levels for each and every item I forge, excluding maybe iron daggers? No matter how high my character's level is, after patch 1.5, say, leather bracers increase my smithing by 1 each time I make them. Kinda ironic, considering Beth's patch notes for 1.5.

Maybe you are low leveled at smithing. If that's the case then it's totally normal

I should have added that my smithing skill doesnt matter either, same at 20 as at 80 skill lvl

No, that's not normal. I'm not sure what's up with your game, but saying there are bugs in Skyrim is like saying there is water in the ocean.

One of the mods you are using is probably breaking smithing. I've heard of this before.
