Ive been in black reach for awhile, and just encountered a weird glitch. In the upper right hand of the screen I got a message saying "was equipped" and now I have like smoke coming out of me. I've tried everything to get it to go away. I read somewhere that the only way to remove it is to become a werewolf, but I never did that part of the companions quest. Since I always play in first person, I'm not sure when this started, and don't want to have to start going back through saves. M

Any suggestions? (also, how the heck do I get out of black reach, the only exit I've seen has a gate that I can't find a lever for)

The exits from Blackreach (other than the one from Alftand where you got there to begin with) are by elevators. There are several. Once you use the elevators, you have to use the levers to your right and about head high to open the outside gates.

sounds like you equiped the ebony armour[I think thats the one] it will give you black smoke that helps to hide you and poison.

No armor, I've got all enchanted clothes on. It's not one of the cinematic effects like the way your feet look when you use muffle. It's
Full on smoke shooting out of me on both sides with like embers falling.

I don't have any "cinematic" effects with muffle on boots. What's it supposed to be doing?
